NCERT organises its textbooks by class first, and this page mirrors that: twelve classes, spanning four stages of the school curriculum — Primary (Class 1–5), Middle (Class 6–8), Secondary (Class 9–10), and Senior Secondary (Class 11–12). Each stage builds directly on the one before it, which is why NCERT Deck keeps every class's books and solutions grouped together rather than scattering them across separate subject-only sections.

Classes 1 through 5 focus on building strong fundamentals in language and number-sense. Classes 6 through 8 introduce Science and Social Science as full subjects. Classes 9 and 10 deepen that same core syllabus ahead of board-level assessment, and Classes 11 and 12 branch into Science, Commerce and Humanities streams, each with its own set of specialised subjects.
